Tedeschi Plumbing Service is hiring a full time apprentice plumber.  We focus on residential plumbing service in the Northern Pittsburgh communities.  We strive to provide exceptional customer service and a positive experience for our customers.  At our company, we believe that supporting a healthy work- life balance not only improves the well being of our plumbing professionals, but also insures they deliver the highest quality service to our residential clients every day.  

This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals.  You will be actively involved in supporting plumbing installations, repairs, and system trouble shooting. 

Joining our team you will gain hands on experience as an aspiring plumber and work toward your licensure.  

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential settings.
• Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and welding apparatus to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
• Help with measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes using basic math skills to ensure precise installations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials. 
• Learn to troubleshoot plumbing issues by inspecting system, reading schematics, and assisting with field service operations. 

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic interest in plumbing field
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding techniques 
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics with guidance from mentors
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and advance 
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in plumbing projects
